One Powerful Ocean Story: A Sea-Doo Social Club Island Cleanup
Henry Bliss, 4ocean Content Producer
One island, a fleet of Sea-Doos, and a whole lot of hidden trash. Watch how a group of Sea-Doo riders, including one incredibly inspiring participant, took action off the coast of South Florida.
What looked like a pristine slice of paradise just off South Florida’s coast turned out to be hiding a surprising amount of plastic pollution. So, we teamed up with the Sea-Doo Social Club, hopped on our personal watercrafts, and set out on a mission to clean it up, one pound of trash at a time.
The result? A hundred pounds of plastic and trash are no longer on that coastline.
This effort wasn’t just about what we found on the island; it was about who showed up. Volunteers from all over the state of Florida came together, including Elizabeth, an ocean advocate with an incredible story of personal commitment to the clean ocean movement. Her passion is a powerful reminder that ocean conservation is personal and every small action matters.
With Sea-Doos as our ride and community as our engine, this cleanup proved that even the cleanest-looking places still need protecting and that everyone is capable of making a difference.
