Once you’re done with your 4ocean product, please reach out to our customer service team to receive a prepaid shipping label.
The 4ocean Closed-Loop Program is only available in the U.S. for now, but we plan to expand in the future.

Close-up shot of microfiber and microplastic in seawater

Cotton ready for harvesting
Microfibers are tiny plastic fibers shed by synthetic fabrics during the wash cycle. Because they’re so tiny, microfibers pass through filters at wastewater treatment plants and escape into our waterways and the ocean.
Many marine animals ingest these plastic fibers and the toxins they absorb, which can leach into their tissues and cause significant health issues. This includes many of the fish consumed by people.
We chose to make our t-shirts from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton because it’s a natural fiber that won’t contribute to the devastating impact of microplastic pollution in the ocean.
Our 100% organic cotton is grown in India’s cotton belt on farms that are free from GMO seeds, pesticides, fertilizers, and other toxic chemicals. Local, predominantly female farmers harvest, gin, and clean the cotton using no toxic chemicals.
The cotton is spun, knitted, dyed, and sewn into our t-shirts in a process that’s 100% GOTS-certified. Our designs are applied in a water-based printing process that’s free of heavy metals, formaldehyde, plastisol, or other toxic chemicals.
From farm to finished product, our t-shirts are sustainably sourced and ethically manufactured so you look good and feel even better wearing them.
