In the 1970s, ocean conservationists tried to build the world’s longest artificial coral reef using more than two million old car tires. Sadly, the restoration project failed and loose tires have been migrating across the seafloor and damaging crucial coral habitat ever since.
The Osborne Reef Tire Cleanup is our chance to rewrite ocean conservation history, recover these tires from the bottom of the ocean, and protect the same coral reefs they were trying to save all those years ago.

Recovering these tires is extremely resource intensive and we need your help to maximize our impact so we can recover these tires on an even larger scale
There are still hundreds of thousands of tires polluting the seafloor and every tire we recover prevents damage to vulnerable and imperiled coral reefs
Designed to represent the tires our crews are recovering, this bracelet provides unique storytelling opportunities that can inspire others to join the clean ocean movement
Love the bracelet, what it stands for and, most of all, that it means there are less tires damaging our ocean floor. Have given 5 as gifts, creating my own circle of loved ones who care for the ocean and helping to support 4ocean’s mission.
I have handfuls of 4ocean beaded bracelets, but this particular bracelet is now my favorite. I absolutely love the cause and I love the bracelet! It was also so nice that the bracelet came in a cute little box! Keep up the amazing work 4ocean!
