I can’t believe I saw this at a concert…

A Collaboration That Strikes a Chord
I knew that the partnership was happening, but it was pretty surreal to finally see it in person. Dave Matthews Band has always been one of our favorite bands, so it was amazing to see this collaboration at an actual concert.
DMB not only cranks out some awesome music, but they are also doing amazing things in the sustainability space. They have committed to planting 5 million trees, with 4 million already planted. They encouraged fans to bring reusable bottles and even provided water refill stations to cut down on single-use plastic.
They were selling water in aluminum cans instead of plastic and had designated recycling bins for plastic, aluminum, and landfill items. The venue's recycling leaderboard showed they recycled 5,538 pounds at the last show and a total of 41,087 pounds this season.

Big shoutout to Dave Matthews Band for their partnership and commitment to sustainability! Next up we need to get Dave and the crew out on a boat to join us for a cleanup mission!Stay tuned for more updates and join me in celebrating these awesome partnerships that drive positive change for the ocean! Thanks for following along on the journey,
