It's early morning, the wind is calm, the water is slick, and the sun is just barely peeking over the horizon. What time is it? It's time to fire up the engine and get to work! That's what Captain Denise Salas does for 4ocean day in and day out. As one of our cleanup captains in Southeast Florida, she epitomizes the 4ocean spirit and embraces the challenge of cleaning the ocean with drive and effort.
We had a chance to catch up with Captain Salas and her crew for a day on the water to experience what she sees out there every day. Check out the video here to listen in on the conversation we had and get a different perspective from the front lines.
"I am out on the water doing what I love and I am helping the environment. I can't really ask for more than that," said Captain Salas.
"Change has to start somewhere and I feel like that is what we are doing, we are starting the change," adds Salas.
Some pretty powerful insight and a mindset that we should all think about adopting. Be a part of the change and join the 4ocean Movement. Come along for the ride.
