BLU3 and 4ocean Share a Mission Beneath the Surface
4ocean Partnerships
For BLU3 and Brownie’s Marine Group, the ocean has always been more than a destination for recreation. It is the center of their mission, their products, and the experiences they create for people around the world.
That shared connection to the ocean is what made their partnership with 4ocean a natural fit.
Through portable dive systems, underwater scooters, and immersive ocean experiences, BLU3 helps more people explore marine environments firsthand. Their belief is simple: when people form a real connection with the ocean, they become more motivated to protect it.
Now, through their partnership with 4ocean, that connection extends beyond exploration and into direct environmental impact.

One of the most unique aspects of the collaboration is how BLU3 has integrated ocean cleanup directly into the customer experience. While shopping on their website, customers can immediately see how many pounds of trash will be removed from the ocean through their purchase. The goal is to create a visible link between ocean recreation and ocean conservation while helping customers feel like active participants in protecting marine ecosystems.
For the BLU3 team, sustainability and ocean stewardship are not side initiatives. They are part of the company’s long-term vision.
A major part of that vision comes through their Live Blue experiences in South Florida. In partnership with Ocean Rescue Alliance International, these events combine paddleboarding, snorkeling, underwater exploration, reef restoration awareness, and ocean education to encourage environmental stewardship and stronger community involvement.

The experiences are designed not only to introduce people to marine environments, but also to deepen their understanding of the challenges those ecosystems face.
BLU3 has also continued expanding its portfolio of marine recreation products, including its portable dive systems and SeaNXT underwater scooters, helping make underwater exploration more accessible to a wider audience.
Beyond recreation, their technology is also being used to support marine research in the field.
One recent example involved a researcher studying seahorses in Greece. Traditional scuba diving created logistical challenges because the nearest tank refill station was located far away, while freediving repeatedly disturbed the animals during observation. Using BLU3’s Nomad Mini portable dive system allowed the researcher to stay underwater longer with less disruption to the seahorses and their environment.
Stories like these reflect the broader direction BLU3 hopes to continue pursuing in the future.
The company plans to expand its Live Blue experiences, support more reef and cleanup initiatives, grow educational outreach around responsible ocean use, and continue developing products that encourage deeper connections with marine environments.
By combining ocean recreation, education, and direct cleanup impact, BLU3 hopes to help build a future where spending time in the ocean also means actively helping protect it.
