It seems like just yesterday that we were pulling our one-millionth pound (in actuality, it was just back on July 20, 2018), but today we passed yet another milestone and it's now adding up by the millions - 4 million pounds pulled from the ocean and coastlines...and counting!
Let's put this into a bit of context.
It took us almost a full year and 7 months to pull our first 1 million pounds and just a little over 7 months to pull our next 3 million pounds...WOW!
Now, that's what it looks like when you get after it and make it happen to meet the enormous challenge of ocean plastic pollution. 4ocean employees are some of the most dedicated and hardworking people we know. They're on the water and coastlines from SE Florida, to Haiti and around the world to Bali pulling a massive amount of ocean plastic and trash every day. Suffice to say, we couldn't be more proud of them.
