Our aim is to eliminate waste at the end of our product lifecycle by taking back 4ocean products that our customers no longer use so they can be properly recycled or transformed into new products. Once you’re done with your 4ocean product, please reach out to our customer service team to receive a prepaid shipping label.
The 4ocean Closed-Loop Program is only available in the U.S. for now, but we plan to expand in the future.

Loggerhead sea turtle floating in the Caribbean Sea
Plastic pollution threatens coral reef and wildlife
Named for their large heads and powerful jaw muscles, loggerhead sea turtles are the world’s largest hard-shelled turtles. Adults have an average weight of 300lbs and can grow up to 80 inches in length. They’ve been seen all over the world but the greatest concentration can be found along the southeastern coast of North America.
Spending most of their time in the open ocean and shallow coastal waters, loggerheads rarely come ashore. This puts these turtles at a high risk for bycatch, which is the accidental capture of marine animals in fishing gear. They are also at risk for ingestion of plastic due to their inability to decipher the difference between a plastic bag and other species that would fall into their diets.
With the odds stacked against loggerheads, it can be tough to figure out how you can make a difference. Let’s continue to remove these hazardous materials from the oceans while reducing our own plastic footprints.

As soon as our beads, cords, and charms reach our main facility in Denpasar, Bali, a crew loads up our van and motorbikes to distribute these components to artisans in remote villages scattered across the island.
Women comprise 80 percent of this workforce. In Bali, women tend to assume the role of primary caretakers for their families, which means their job opportunities are limited. Because they’re able to hand assemble our bracelets in their homes and village centers, more women are able to join the workforce while continuing to care for their families.
